Crivadia Gorges - video

Crivadia Gorges - videoPlay
The Crivadia Gorge is located next to the village of Crivadia, which belongs to Banita. Access is difficult, and the hike is made through the streambed, with water up to the waist at its narrowest point.

From the viaduct spanning over Crivadia, there is a good view of the upper, open part of the wild gorge, but there is no glimpse into the lower parts. Entering the village, starting from the church, you can start walking up the stream under the viaduct.

Since you have to wade through the water, it is recommended to wear a bathing suit and appropriate footwear. After the Corcoaia and Banita gorges, this place was not as spectacular, at least in terms of the colors and shapes of the gorge.

The abundance of garbage and discarded bottles, however, is quite disheartening. However, the excitement of venturing through the narrow sections with water up to the waist makes up for it.

From the vicinity of the viaduct, the path leading from the main road allows easy access to the Crivadia Tower, which is located above the gorge.

They say about this place that only very few people know about it, but that's not true. In fact, most nature lovers have heard of it, seen pictures taken here, even if not everyone has been able to come here. Since it has been talked about everywhere, and it has been advertised, I have also been planning to come here for years.
