Wild Ferenc memorial path - Suhardul Mic 0.44 km away
In recent days, this news has been everywhere: the via ferrata route built on the southwest wall of Suhardul Mic (Little Suhard) has finally been completed and inaugurated. The new route has been named after Ferenc Wild, in memory of the former mountain rescuer, sports writer, and one of the founders of the mountain rescue association in Gheorgheni.
Wild Ferenc iron path - Suhardul Mic
Wild Ferenc iron path - Suhardul Mic 0.47 km away
While I climbed the new iron path mostly in the dark for the first time, this time I managed to explore it during the day. But I still missed the sunset by a few minutes.
Waterfalls of Lapos creek - Bicaz Gorges
Waterfalls of Lapos creek - Bicaz Gorges 1.69 km away
One of the lesser-known attractions of the Bicaz Gorges is the series of waterfalls along Lapos Creek. This creek flows between Cupas Stone and Bardos Stone before eventually merging with Bicaz Creek, forming spectacular waterfalls beneath the Altar Stone.

From the viewpoint at the top of the northeastern wall of Poienii Rock in the Bicaz Gorges, we can look down 300 meters to the mouth of the Bicajel stream. The Bridge of the Hungarians is hidden among pine trees.

Grande Fistoire iron path Le Caire, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence 1554.06 km away
Because I lost the footage I made the first time (don't buy SD cards from Alibaba!), at the end of June I visited this great and exciting via ferrata again.
Kaiser Franz-Josef Klettersteig Leopoldsteiner See 830.77 km away
The Franz-Josef Klettersteig is located on the Seemauer cliff face, which rises 900 meters above Leopoldsteiner Lake, in the western part of the Hochschwab mountain range, just 4 km from the town of Eisenerz. This via ferrata is named after the Kaisersteig, a hunting trail established for the esteemed Emperor Franz Joseph I of Austria and Hungary at the end of the 19th century, traces of which can still be observed today.
Crivadia Gorges 248.91 km away
The Crivadia Gorge is located next to the village of Crivadia, which belongs to Banita. Access is difficult, and the hike is made through the streambed, with water up to the waist at its narrowest point.
Agnes Waterfall Western Mecsek 584.79 km away
The Agnes Waterfall is the largest waterfall in the Mecsek region, although the stream's water only cascades down from a height of one and a half to two meters, over a travertine ledge. Nearby attractions include the Meleg-mány Waterfall and the Mánfa Stone-Cave.
Trift valley, bridge, lake and glacier Gadmen, Switzerland 1325.93 km away
During the hike in Trift Valley, I experienced cloudy and gloomy weather with intermittent rain. Here is the 170 m long Trift Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps, in a breathtaking environment, 100 meters above the Trift Glacier Lake.
