The Slunjcica river is situated in central Croatia, flowing through the Kordun region. The city of Slunj is named after this river.

It runs partially underground, passing through porous karst terrain made of limestone soil. Eventually, it emerges near the city of Slunj. At Rastoke, the Slunjcica meets the river Korana, which flows into this point after traversing the Plitvice Lakes National Park.

Because of its subterranean path, the Slunjcica maintains a refreshingly cold temperature year-round, making it a valuable source of drinking water for the nearby towns.

Hias Klettersteig - Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 295.15 km away
The Hias Klettersteig in the Silberkarklamm gorge is the first of the three via ferrata routes, and perhaps the easiest to complete. Two cable bridges and a few trickier sections make it interesting, but it is truly impressive due to the view of the narrow gorge.
Rosina Klettersteig - Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 295.24 km away
The Rosina Klettersteig is the most difficult via ferrata in the Silberkar gorge, has a D difficulty rating, and it is a vertical masterpiece. After a short suspension bridge above the stream, it leads up the rock wall next to the gorge waterfall, all the way vertically.
Siega Klettersteig - Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 296.04 km away
The Siega Klettersteig, categorized as a C/D level of difficulty, is perhaps the least interesting of the three via ferratas in the Silberkarklamm gorge. This doesn't mean that it's not good, just that the other two are even better. :-)
