Vadu Crisului cave
Vadu Crisului cave 3.78 km away
The Vadu Crisului Cave, with a total length of over 1000 meters, is located in the picturesque gorge of Crisul Repede creek. It consists of a gently meandering, long passage that features an active, stream level next to an upper, fossil level in its first section.
Fairy Cliff iron path - Vadu Crisului
Fairy Cliff iron path - Vadu Crisului 4.31 km away
In Vadu Crisului, in the Padurea Craiului Mountains, on the right bank of the Crisul Repede, you can find the newest, in chronological order the fifth Transylvanian, new type of via ferrata route. I will not count here the traditional iron paths, the high-mountain hiking trails, partly secured with iron cables, or the rock canyons with iron ladders and footbridges.
Crystal Cave at Farcu Mine
Crystal Cave at Farcu Mine 16.45 km away
In the Padurea Craiului Mountains, near Rosia, in the Farcu bauxite mine, in 1987, the miners accidentally discovered a cave. It was filled with crystal-shaped limestone formations.

With snowshoes in the Tihu creek valley Rastolita 195.26 km away
We met geotrekking treasure hunters from Gheorgheni, Miercurea Ciuc and Targu Mures in Rastolita. We entered the Calimani Mountains with an off-road vehicle, along the Rastolita and Tihu streams.
Hias Klettersteig Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 669.28 km away
The Hias Klettersteig in the Silberkarklamm gorge is the first of the three via ferrata routes, and perhaps the easiest to complete. Two cable bridges and a few trickier sections make it interesting, but it is truly impressive due to the view of the narrow gorge.
The Stone Wedding Zimzelen, Kardzhali 629.55 km away
The Stone Wedding (Kamenna Svatba, Petrified Wedding, Kardzhali Pyramids) is located near the village of Zimzelen, close to the city of Kardzhali, in the eastern part of the Rhodope Mountains in Bulgaria. This spectacular natural formation was declared a natural monument in 1974.
Sky Walk, Suspension Bridge, Stairway to Nothingness Dachstein 676.25 km away
The Dachstein cable car took me up to a height of 2700 meters, to the highest mountain in Styria, the Dachstein. A fabulous natural environment unfolded before me, with panoramic views of the Austrian peaks.
Black Rocks iron path Bihor Mountains 47.31 km away
Black Rocks is located in the Bihor Mountains, near the Vartop Saddle, to the west of it. It is interesting that the locals (if I understood correctly) do not know this name, but use the name Piatra Buna (meaning Good Stone) for this spectacular rock.
