The Seven Ladders are located in the middle-western part of the Piatra Mare Mountains, at an average altitude of 980 m, not far away from Valea Timisului (Dambu Morii), on the Seven Ladders River, the left-side affluent of Sipoaia creek. These are the greatest and the most spectacular gorges of the whole Piatra Mare Mountains.

Big Via ferrata Rasnoavei Gorges 9.41 km away
The most dangerous Eastern European iron path, and also one of the most beautiful via ferrata routes in Romania, is in the Rasnoavei Gorges, Postavaru Mountains.

Les Gorges de la Méouge France 1565.03 km away
Following today's climb, I experienced the soothing pleasure of immersing myself in the turquoise waters of the Méouge creek, in the pond beneath a waterfall. If you find yourself in Sisteron or Grenoble, do not miss the opportunity to explore the magnificent Méouge valley near Ribiers. And do not leave your swimwear behind.
Preacher's Rock Bodoc Mountains 55.38 km away
In the Bodoc Mountains, west-southwest from the Henter peak, we find a rock formation shaped like a mushroom by erosion, called Preacher's Rock. This 2-meter high rock probably got its name from the pagan Hungarian priests, who preached here in the past.
Schulter Anstieg klettersteig Hoher Dachstein, Austria 943.91 km away
Two iron paths lead to the top of the Hoher Dachstein. The Randkluft is shorter, but can only be reached through a glacier with cracks. It is dangerous to reach the starting point, that's probably why it was closed now.
Mammuthöhle Dachstein Salzkammergut, Austria 937.58 km away
The first station of the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car, which starts in Obertraun, in the southern part of Lake Hallstatt, is Schönbergalm. Here you can find the Ice Cave and the Mammoth Cave. The latter is not named after the now extinct relatives of elephants, but rather because of its enormous size.
Walking to the top of Sumuleul Mare Sumuleu Ciuc 92.36 km away
This was my first attempt at shooting a video.
Via ferrata du Diable France 1473.11 km away
The Devil's Iron Path (Via ferrata du Diable) is a multi-part via ferrata, located above a spectacular waterfall (Cascade du Nant), in a gorge, below the Victor-Emmanuel fort. For me, this climbing route presented the greatest challenge so far.
Aareschlucht Meiringen-Innertkirchen, Switzerland 1345.87 km away
The Aareschlucht is a 1400-meter long, 200-meter deep gorge of the Aare river, near Innertkirchen, Switzerland. It has two entrances, one from Meiringen in the west, and one from Innertkirchen in the east, which lead into the narrow, but stunning gorge.

Castle panorama route (D), Zoltán Tálos memorial route (E), Besieger's route (C), Kőmosó-ravine, Csesznek, Veszprém county, Hungary. The via ferratas in Csesznek are suitable for both getting acquainted with climbing, and assessing our capabilities.
Trift valley, bridge, lake and glacier Gadmen, Switzerland 1335.14 km away
During the hike in Trift Valley, I experienced cloudy and gloomy weather with intermittent rain. Here is the 170 m long Trift Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps, in a breathtaking environment, 100 meters above the Trift Glacier Lake.
Siega Klettersteig Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 935.97 km away
The Siega Klettersteig, categorized as a C/D level of difficulty, is perhaps the least interesting of the three via ferratas in the Silberkarklamm gorge. This doesn't mean that it's not good, just that the other two are even better. :-)
Pricske peak Giurgeu Mountains 138.32 km away
If we want to reach Pricske (Prisca) peak, which rises above Gheorgheni and Lazarea, we start from the valley of the Güdüc (Ghidut) stream. Our path leads us past the ruins of a building known as the White House.

Wild Ferenc memorial path Suhardul Mic 139.28 km away
In recent days, this news has been everywhere: the via ferrata route built on the southwest wall of Suhardul Mic (Little Suhard) has finally been completed and inaugurated. The new route has been named after Ferenc Wild, in memory of the former mountain rescuer, sports writer, and one of the founders of the mountain rescue association in Gheorgheni.

In the Padurea Craiului Mountains, near Rosia, in the Farcu bauxite mine, in 1987, the miners accidentally discovered a cave. It was filled with crystal-shaped limestone formations.
