Fairy Cliff iron path - Vadu Crisului 22.92 km away
In Vadu Crisului, in the Padurea Craiului Mountains, on the right bank of the Crisul Repede, you can find the newest, in chronological order the fifth Transylvanian, new type of via ferrata route. I will not count here the traditional iron paths, the high-mountain hiking trails, partly secured with iron cables, or the rock canyons with iron ladders and footbridges.
Vadu Crisului cave 23.74 km away
The Vadu Crisului Cave, with a total length of over 1000 meters, is located in the picturesque gorge of Crisul Repede creek. It consists of a gently meandering, long passage that features an active, stream level next to an upper, fossil level in its first section.

Via ferrata Rocher de l'envers France 1303.18 km away
The Rocher de l'envers via ferrata is located in a beautiful environment, above Saint-Vincent-de-Mercuze, in France. Several beautiful and large waterfalls, as well as several small cascades, make it attractive.
Via ferrata Adventure Climb Varmost Italia 778.54 km away
I participated in a joint, Szekler-Italian 'military exercise' on the Adventure Climb Varmost via ferrata. :-) The iron climbing route is located in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region, in the Carnic Alps, and it leads up to the summit of Clap Varmost above Forni di Sopra.
Via ferrata de la Grande Fistoire France 1326.6 km away
Because I lost the footage I made the first time (don't buy SD cards from Alibaba!), at the end of June I visited this great and exciting via ferrata again. It has a 59-meter long suspension bridge (one of the longest in the Alps), at 200 m height, and a 32-meter long, uncomfortably swinging Nepalese bridge.
Trift valley, bridge, lake and glacier Gadmen, Switzerland 1092.96 km away
During the hike in Trift Valley, I experienced cloudy and gloomy weather with intermittent rain. Here is the 170 m long Trift Bridge, the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in the Swiss Alps, in a breathtaking environment, 100 meters above the Trift Glacier Lake.
Black Rocks iron path Bihor Mountains 65.36 km away
Black Rocks is located in the Bihor Mountains, near the Vartop Saddle, to the west of it. It is interesting that the locals (if I understood correctly) do not know this name, but use the name Piatra Buna (meaning Good Stone) for this spectacular rock.
The Heart of Jesus look-out Lupeni 206.37 km away
Through the mud on Gordon Mountain, above Farkaslaka (Lupeni commune, Harghita county, Transilvania), on a cloudy afternoon, at the end of February. The destination is the Heart of Jesus lookout, nicknamed as Pléhkrisztus (The Tin Christ).
Aareschlucht Meiringen-Innertkirchen, Switzerland 1103.37 km away
The Aareschlucht is a 1400-meter long, 200-meter deep gorge of the Aare river, near Innertkirchen, Switzerland. It has two entrances, one from Meiringen in the west, and one from Innertkirchen in the east, which lead into the narrow, but stunning gorge.
Rieseneishöhle Dachstein Salzkammergut, Austria 682.19 km away
The second cave open to the public, of Schönbergalm above Obertraun am Hallstättersee, is the Ice Cave (Rieseneishöhle). For me, it was more spectacular than the Mammoth Cave.
Fairy Cliff iron path Vadu Crisului 22.92 km away
In Vadu Crisului, in the Padurea Craiului Mountains, on the right bank of the Crisul Repede, you can find the newest, in chronological order the fifth Transylvanian, new type of via ferrata route. Crivadia Gorges 185.44 km away
The Crivadia Gorge is located next to the village of Crivadia, which belongs to Banita. Access is difficult, and the hike is made through the streambed, with water up to the waist at its narrowest point.
Big Via ferrata Rasnoavei Gorges 273.79 km away
The most dangerous Eastern European iron path, and also one of the most beautiful via ferrata routes in Romania, is in the Rasnoavei Gorges, Postavaru Mountains.
Hodoaba Valley iron path Suncuius 24.08 km away
The Hodoaba Valley iron path is Romania's shortest and easiest (official) via ferrata route. It is located near Suncuius, in the Padurea Craiului Mountains, on the left bank of the Crisul Repede River.
Via ferrata Tatabánya 331.58 km away
I climbed Kata! Who is Kata? Kata is a very talented, beautiful, but mainly extreme lady from Tatabánya. More specifically, she is Hungary's most difficult via ferrata climbing route. :-)
Rosina Klettersteig Silberkarklamm, Ramsau am Dachstein 682.39 km away
The Rosina Klettersteig is the most difficult via ferrata in the Silberkar gorge, has a D difficulty rating, and it is a vertical masterpiece. After a short suspension bridge above the stream, it leads up the rock wall next to the gorge waterfall, all the way vertically.
